Mets Syunik grows Areni grape and uses this variety for production of dry, semi-dry and semi-sweet elite red wines. Thanks to the unique climate, soil, and viticulture, grape obtains its particular features, which give a special taste and unique aroma to the wines.

The climate in this region is defined by its mountains. Summers are hot and dry, and winters are harsh with little snow. Due to a large number of sunny days during the year (300 on average), the grape grown in this area has a high sugar content and, thus, high alcohol, which facilitates the production of wines.

Mets Syunik uses specific technology that prevents wines from deterioration, even if bottles are not kept in special storage facilities.
